Women's compression pants for lymphedema and lipedema
Lymphedemas are swellings caused by a buildup of lymph fluid. The cause is usually impaired lymph drainage, meaning restricted flow of lymph fluid, which leads to a buildup of this fluid in the body. By contrast, lipedema is an uneven buildup of fatty tissue in the arms, legs, and buttocks area. This results in swelling and pain in these areas.
In both cases, wearing special compression clothing and compression undergarments can bring relief from symptoms. Compression clothing applies even pressure to the skin and underlying tissue, which promotes blood circulation. This reduces the buildup of fluid in the tissue that can occur with both lipedema and lymphedema. The compression tights specially developed by me have a focus over the abdomen, because most of the lymph nodes and lymph vessels run between the navel and the pubic bone. These are massaged up to the ankles with every movement, which stimulates lymph drainage. The VeraMeyer compression clothing for women also helps with varicose veins, spider veins, cellulite, venous insufficiency, and other symptoms.
